Trans queen Fuschia Anne Ravena gets own Jojo Bragais tribute shoe

Pride Month celebrations extended beyond June with an international titleholder from the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and others) community getting immortalized through a special footwear.
Cebuana beauty Fuschia Anne Ravena, the Philippines’ third winner of the Miss International Queen crown, is the newest global beauty queen from the country to lend her name to a shoe by international Filipino shoe designer Jojo Bragais.
With the “Fuschia” shoe, Ravena has joined the ranks of 2013 Miss World Megan Young, 2016 Miss International Kylie Verzosa, 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, and a slew of other iconic Filipino titlists who have been immortalized through their own Bragais shoes.
“I never thought in my entire life I’d have a Bragais shoe named after me! But I admire queens who did, like Pia, and thought how lucky they were. Now, having my own tribute shoes is an incredible honor,” Ravena told INQUIRER.net in an online interview.
The international Filipino shoe line posted a video of Ravena on social media, showing her unboxing two pairs of shoes, at first not knowing that she would be seeing her namesake design.
She said she was expecting to see an already existing model. “But when they said ‘Fuschia,’ I was shocked, and I cried. The realization that it was named after me was overwhelming,” she shared.

“Nakakaiyak talaga (It made me cry)! Having my own Jojo Bragais tribute shoes is overwhelming with emotion. It’s beyond expectations, and Sir Jojo’s support warms my heart, representing not just me, but our entire trans community,” she said.
The strappy, high-heeled design is the latest addition to the Bragais 6.5-inch line. Aside from the nude model, a staple in pageants, it also comes in a unique colorway that uses the trans flag’s pink, blue and white colors.
“As a transpinay who loves pageantry, it’s meaningful that Sir Jojo made these shoes official for Miss International Queen Philippines 2025. Bragais shoes are a staple for confidence and success on stage!” Ravena said.
The search for the Philippines’ delegate to the 2025 Miss International Queen pageant in Thailand is now ongoing, with Jojo Bragais’ “Fuschia” as the official shoe.
The public may grab their own Fuschia pair at the Jojo Bragais Anniversary Outlet Sale at the flagship store on Scout Borromeo in Quezon City from July 12 to 17.
Over 4,000 products, from pageant shoes to men’s shoes and other footwear, will be available during the sale. More than a dozen national and international titleholders from pageants for both men and women are expected to drop by the sale.
Ravena, meanwhile, expressed her gratitude to Bragais. “Maraming, maraming salamat sa support at pagmamahal sa aming mga LGBT community (Thank you very much for the support and love for our LGBT community),” she said. /ra
