Pop star Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom sparked separation rumors after nearly nine years together, international outlets reported.
While the two have not officially confirmed the breakup rumors, speculation began after Bloom attended the wedding of billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez alone in Mallorca earlier this month.
Perry was notably absent from the gathering, and insiders close to the couple reportedly told People Magazine that the relationship is “pretty much done,” adding that they are only waiting for the right time to officially announce the breakup.
“Don’t really see them being able to turn things around here,” the outlet wrote, citing the source. “It’s been breaking down the last couple of months and isn’t looking good.”
The report follows weeks of fan speculation, as both Perry and Bloom have appeared in public separately, without any mention of each other in interviews or social media posts.

Sources have pointed to a “growing distance” between the two, partly due to Perry’s current Lifetime concert tour, which began in April and runs until December 2025.
Another reported reason for the breakup was Perry’s decision to join Blue Origin’s all-female space mission earlier this year, which Bloom was reportedly against.
During a concert in Australia, Perry also hinted at emotional struggles, telling the audience, “If you’re going through a breakup, this one’s for you,” before launching into a ballad.
Perry and Bloom first met in 2016 at a Golden Globes afterparty. They began dating shortly after, had a brief breakup in 2017, and reconciled later that year.
On Valentine’s Day in 2019, Bloom proposed with a flower-shaped diamond ring. The couple welcomed their first child, Daisy Dove Bloom, the following year.
Over the years, the pair were candid about the challenges in their relationship, even revealing that “they had undergone couples therapy to help manage their differences.” /edv
