Jessie J opened up about the “honest lows and highs” of her battle with breast cancer, revealing she is now in recovery after she underwent a surgery.

The British singer documented herself pre- and post-surgery, showing the markings on her chest prior to the operation through her Instagram page on Tuesday, June 24.

She also gave a glimpse of her support system during the medical procedure, which includes her partner Chanan Colman and their son.

“This post is some of the honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours. I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through,” she said in the caption.

“Grateful to my doctor/surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me and all my family/friends who came to visit. I am home now, to rest and wait for my results,” she added.

Concluding her post, she wrote, “Still hugging everyone going through something tough right now. We all got this!”

Jessie J first revealed her breast cancer diagnosis earlier this month, saying at the time that she had been “in and out of tests throughout this whole period.” She also noted that she would be disappearing for some time for her surgery.
