Ivana Alawi, under lie detector test, says she’s not a homewrecker

While she has yet to address the allegations of her supposed affair with producer-politician Albee Benitez, Ivana Alawi recently underwent a lie detector test, during which she declared she has never caused a family to fall apart.

A real lie detector test machine was attached to the actress while she was being asked several questions by her sister Mona, as seen on the former’s YouTube vlog on Monday, June 23.

“Ikaw ba ay nanira ng pamilya? (Did you cause a family to fall apart?)” Mona asked, to which Ivana immediately responded, “No.”

The operator of the machine then made a thumbs-up sign, implying that Ivana was telling the truth.

“Hindi ako pinalaking manira ng pamilya,” the actress continued. “I respect families kasi kami nga broken family. Ano ‘to, tapos maninira ako ng family? Sira ulo ka pala e.”

(I was not raised that way. I respect families because we, too, are a broken family. Why would I destroy a family? You’re crazy.)

During the vlog, Ivana also said that she is a “private person” and that she does not share everything to the public.

Ivana was dragged into an affair controversy with Albee after copies of a complaint for violation of the anti-violence against women and their children law (Republic Act No. 9262) supposedly filed by his wife, Dominique “Nikki” Lopez-Benitez, against him circulated on social media in May.

Albee denied these allegations through his legal counsel. Ivana has yet to publicly comment on the matter, although it can be recalled that she had denied her rumored romance with Albee in 2024. /ra
