Shuvee Etrata confessed that she felt “betrayed” by her fellow Kapuso housemate AZ Martinez after the latter nominated her for eviction in “Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): Celebrity Collab” edition. Despite this, Etrata clarified that she had already forgiven Martinez.

Etrata and her co-duo Klarisse de Guzman (or ShuKla) were nominated for eviction after receiving three points from the tandem of Martinez and River Joseph (or AZVer). According to Martinez, it was Etrata’s open sharing of her knowledge of the “outside world” that played a role in her nomination, as it was supposedly “against” the rules.

Also up for eviction were AZVer and the team-up of Dustin Yu and Bianca de Vera (or DusBi). However, ShuKla was eventually evicted from the “PBB” House in the show’s June 14 episode, losing to AZVer by a slim margin.

FEATURED STORIES

Etrata and Martinez used to be good friends inside the Bahay ni Kuya.

Touching on Martinez’s nomination, Etrata admitted in a June 20 interview on 24 Oras that she felt betrayed by what the former did to her.

“I-acknowledge ko lang din naman po, I felt betrayed noong time po na ‘yun pero malaki naman po ‘yung heart ko to forgive her. And we found our way back to each other naman (I acknowledge that I felt betrayed at that time, but I believe that I have a huge heart to forgive her. And we eventually found our way back to each other anyway),” she said.

Shortly after ShuKla’s eviction, Etrata and her fellow “PBB” evictees briefly returned to the Bahay ni Kuya as House Challenges, where they tested remaining housemates’ ability to be part of the Big 4.

During her return, Etrata admitted that she was “emotional” when she went back to the “PBB” House. Despite this, she hoped that she and Martinez would talk things through once the latter’s stint is over.

“Parang noong bumalik po ako, naging emotional po ako kasi even if it’s hard for me na nangyari po sa amin iyon, na we had to part ways like that,” she said. “Nandun pa rin po ‘yung hope to form the bond again, to be okay again. Hinihintay ko lang po siya sa labas para po mas mapag-usapan namin.”

“Until now, I didn’t know I won the hearts of many. I just realized it noong lumabas kami ni Ate Klang (de Guzman). I felt so bad kasi we were nominated because of me, so parang ‘yung guilt na ‘yun until now, dala-dala ko siya, bubog ko siya,” she said.

The remaining duos in the “PBB” House are Martinez and Joseph (AZVer); Yu and de Vera (DusBi); Will Ashley and Ralph de Leon (RaWi); Charlie Fleming and Esnyr Ranollo (CharEs); and Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo (MikBrent). /edv
