Not even a performance in Bicol the day prior can dampen SB19’s stage presence, as they captivated the audience with their bewitching renditions of their sultrier tracks during the evening gown segment of the Binibining Pilipinas 2025 grand coronation night.
Performing “Moonlight” and “I Want You,” Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin — while donning form-fitting black suits — sent hearts racing, as the candidates showed off their magnificent evening gowns created by Filipino designers. SB19 recently performed the aforementioned renditions of the songs during their two-day “Simula at Wakas” kickoff concert in Bulacan.
Looking dapper onstage, the quintet was fresh from performing at the Bicol Music Festival on Saturday, June 14, before they immediately flew back to Manila for the national tilt.
SB19’s performance marks three years since they first graced the Binibining Pilipinas stage, where they performed “Win Your Heart” — a revival of the pageant’s theme song — and “Moonlight” during the swimsuit portion.

Before the evening gown portion, Dalia Varde Khattab and Blessie Villablanca bagged the Best in Swimsuit and Best in National Costume awards, respectively.
The 61st edition of the national tilt is hosted by Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, Miss Grand International 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves, Miss Universe 2014 semi-finalist MJ Lastimosa, and Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne. Meanwhile, Miss Intercontinental 2015 first runner-up Christi McGarry took her place on the DJ’s corner.
Making a special appearance are reigning titleholders, Miss International Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy of Vietnam, and Miss Globe Diana Moreno of Colombia, who are among the panel of judges.
Two crowns, namely, Binibining Pilipinas International and Binibining Pilipinas Globe, are the coveted prizes of the night, while two additional queens will clinch the runner-up spots.
The national tilt will end with Myrna Esguerra, Jasmin Bungay, Christal Jean dela Cruz, and second runner-up Trisha Martinez passing their crowns to their respective successors. /edv
