Miss Supranational 2025: Tarah Valencia, Anna Lakrini are roommates

The “Valencia sisters” are sharing a room in the ongoing 2025 Miss Supranational pageant in Poland, the Philippines’ Tarah Valencia and former Binibining Pilipinas Anna Valencia Lakrini who is now representing Germany in the international competition.
“Same energy, different flags[German flag emoji][Philippine flag emoji][stars emoji] From sharing snacks to sharing dreams, grateful to be on this journey with my roomie who knows the laman ng puso/ Herzensangelegenheit and the thrill of the stage,” Lakrini posted on social media on Friday, June 13.
More than 60 delegates from around the world are gathered in Malopolska, Poland, for the 16th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant.
It has been more than a year since Valencia was chosen to represent the Philippines in the 2025 Miss Supranational pageant. She was appointed after finishing fourth in the 2024 Miss Universe Philippines pageant topped by Chelsea Manalo.
Lakrini, on the other hand, received her Miss Supranational Germany crown in April at the Queens of Germany search. She was earlier proclaimed as Bb. Pilipinas Globe in 2023, and later finished third in The Miss Globe pageant in the same year.
Speaking with INQUIRER.net earlier, Valencia said she was looking forward to seeing Lakrini in the competition. “I’m really sure that once we get there in Poland, I will find the sisterhood. I will feel the love of a family. I won’t be feeling so alone,” she said.
Valencia said that she had met Lakrini before, in the Philippines, being in the same pageant community even if they come from different national organizations.
“I’m really happy that we’re gonna share the same stage together. I was with Anna for a short time in one event, and I witnessed how soft her heart is, how she’s genuine,” Valencia shared.
She will compete for the Philippines’ second Miss Supranational victory, following Mutya Datul’s coronation in 2013, while Lakrini is hoping to post Germany’s first win in the international pageant.
The 2025 Miss Supranational pageant will hold its final competition show on June 27 (June 28 in Manila). Fans may help their bets move forward in the competition by voting online. Visit the pageant’s social media pages for details on how to vote. /ra
