Carlos Agassi responded to comments about his supposed “inability” to give his wife Sarina kids, with the actor-model stressing that not everyone is aiming to have children.
Agassi, who frequently answers fan questions on his social media pages, spoke about this in a video he shared through his Instagram page on Tuesday, June 10.
“Idol, ang ganda mong lalake, ang ganda ng katawan mo, sikat ka, mayaman ka, pogi, pero wala namang kwenta kasi hindi mo mabigyan ng anak ‘yung asawa mo,” he said, quoting a comment that was supposedly sent to him by an unnamed netizen.
(Idol, you are handsome, fit, popular, rich but all of these are worthless because you cannot give your wife children.)
Responding to this remark, Agassi said, “Kuya, hindi lahat ng tao goal magkaanak. Hindi lahat ng tao ready magkaanak emotionally, physically, mentally and financially.”
(Brother, not everyone aims to have children and not everyone is emotionally, physically, mentally and financially ready for them.)

Agassi then made references to situations where parents do not personally care for their children and instead ask other family members or other people to babysit for them.
“Kung hindi para sa’yo, hindi para sa’yo,” he stated. (If it’s not for you, then it’s not for you.)
“Hindi ako naiinggit sa may anak. Hindi ko rin ayaw magkaanak—kung ano ‘yung ibigay sa akin ni Lord at kung anong itinadhana sa amin ng misis ko,” he added. “I’m so happy to be alive with my wife and to be here with you, guys.”
(I do not envy people who have kids. I am also not against having kids myself—whatever God blesses us with.) /ra
