Valeen Montenegro reveals first pregnancy on 35th birthday

Valeen Montenegro marked her 35th birthday with a surprise announcement to her fans — her pregnancy with her first child.
The actress made the announcement by showing a video of herself flaunting her baby bump while donning a one-piece swimsuit, through her Instagram page on Tuesday, June 10.
“Been keeping a little secret,” she said in the caption, adding a baby bottle and a teddy bear emoji.
The video also showed a compilation of clips of Montenegro’s close friends and loved ones being ecstatic upon learning about her pregnancy.

The soon-to-be-mom’s announcement was also celebrated by her fellow celebrities including Megan Young, Carla Abellana, Jennylyn Mercado, Dasuri Choi, Shaira Diaz and Yasmien Kurdi, who sent their congratulatory greetings via the comments section.

In a separate post, Montenegro welcomed “Chapter 35” with a birthday shoot in which she showed off her curves.

Montenegro and her non-showbiz husband, Riel Manuel, started dating in 2018, then got engaged in 2022. The couple tied the knot in January 2024.
Meanwhile, the actress is set to star in the upcoming film “I Remember You” alongside JC Santos. The film, which will be helmed by Hugo “Boboy” Yonzon, will blend romance with financial literacy. /ra
