Paulo Avelino to lead new ABS-CBN series as he signs with Star Magic

Paulo Avelino is starting a new chapter in his career as he joined ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, with plans to be the lead star of an upcoming series.

The actor’s new beginning was announced by Star Magic in a release on Monday, June 11, while confirming that he will remain a Kapamilya. However, details on his upcoming series are yet to be revealed.

“Paulo Avelino remains a Kapamilya as he officially comes home and joins the Star Magic family, ABS-CBN’s premier talent agency. As one of the most in-demand Kapamilya actors today, Paulo is beloved by fans for his effortless ability in portraying different genres — from riveting character roles to rom-com heart-stealer,” Star Magic said.

Star Magic’s social media platforms also announced Avelino’s joining of the agency on the same day.

Avelino was previously co-managed by Star Magic and LVD until September 2024, and opted to go freelance, per reports.
