Janice de Belen receives flowers, unlimited hugs from Song Joong-ki

Actress Janice de Belen is living every fangirl’s dream after she had a special moment with her ultimate favorite South Korean actor, Song Joong-ki, at the latter’s fan meeting event in Manila on Saturday night, May 24.
De Belen was selected from the crowd and invited on stage to accept a poster and a bouquet of flowers personally arranged by the Korean idol himself.
The moment de Belen stepped onto the stage, Song greeted her with a handshake and a hug, which made her evidently swoon. The Filipina actress then asked for another embrace, and Song gave her a tighter, longer one.
The “Vincenzo” actor shared that he could already see how happy de Belen was when their eyes met while she was still sitting in the crowd, saying, “She’s so happy when we made eye contact.”

The pair then made lingering eye contact before Song went down on his knees to hand de Belen the bouquet of pink flowers he arranged himself. As the Filipina star was about to exit the stage, Song gave her one last embrace.
De Belen captured the moment on her Instagram page as she shared some snaps and clips of her time with the Hallyu A-lister.
“Tonight was a super, super amazing night!!! I really did not expect to be on the same stage as my crush!!!” she wrote. “He holds a special place in my heart.”
The “Saving Grace” actress said that Song helped her deal with grief when her mother passed away.
“Seriously, ‘Descendants of the Sun’ was what I started watching when our mom passed away. It helped me so much to recover from the sadness and the pain. After that, I loved him already. So tonight was monumental for me! I’m so glad I didn’t cry or pass out,” she added.
Before the fan meeting, Song told the members of the press that he looks forward to taking his family on vacation to the Philippines. /edv
