De Leon has been in grief due to the passing of her mom, National Artist and Superstar Nora Aunor, last April 16. The screen veteran died of acute respiratory failure.

Coincidentally, De Leon’s recent cryptic posts came after Aunor’s longtime close friend, John Rendez, spoke about how he felt unwelcome during the burial of the late actress.

Meanwhile, prior to this, De Leon and their family marked what would have been Aunor’s 72nd birthday. The actress, who is the eldest among Aunor’s five children, recounted how her mom had always believed in her capabilities since she was young.

Aunor’s other children are Ian, Matet, Kenneth and Kiko de Leon.  /ra
