PH bets win Miss Aura International, Miss Orient Tourism Global 2025

The Philippines earned two wins in one night after Krishan Pauline Alerre and Patricia Anne Nichole Bangug respectively emerged as this year’s Miss Aura International and Miss Orient Tourism Global titleholders.
Alerre competed at the Miss Aura International finals night held in Turkey on Friday, May 23, and stood out in the dance show, swimsuit, evening gown, and question-and-answer segments.
During the “intelligence round,” Alerre was asked, “They say the future is female. If that’s true, what kind of future do you believe she will create?”
The Kapampangan lass answered, “I believe female can be a future and she can create world where she can empower others; a world driven by empathy, equality and innovation, and a future where purpose guides progress.”
“But after all, I believe, regardless of gender, they can be a future as long as they have the willingness to create an aura-mazing impact globally,” she added.
On her Instagram page on Saturday, May 21, Alerre said winning the international competition “still feels like a dream.”
“Winning Miss Aura International 2025 has me floating on cloud 9!” she exclaimed.
“I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and love. Thank you to everyone who believed in me and supported this journey,” she said. “This crown is not just mine—it’s for you everyone. Proud to bring this honor home!”
Alerre is the second Filipino beauty queen to have won the title, following Alexandra Faith Garcia in 2021.

Bangug, meanwhile, bested delegates from all over the world in the inaugural edition of the Miss Orient Tourism Global pageant held in Malaysia also on Friday.
During the question-and-answer round, Bangug showed off her wit as she answered the question: “As a tourism ambassador and potential titleholder of the Miss Orient Tourism Global 2025, how would you balance carrying the crown and title while also representing the unique beauty and culture of your country to the world?”
“As Miss Orient Tourism Global, I am not just a representative. I am a movement,” she stated. “With every step I take, I carry the stories of my culture, the strength of my people, and a vision for a world where tourism uplifts, connects and transforms.”
“I will become a bridge that connects cultures, inspires understanding, and celebrates global unity. Becoming the titleholder and the representative of the Philippines is not actually a challenge. It is an honor. And I know that together with this organization, we can inspire everyone to promote our vibrant culture, our rich heritage and our warm hospitality. Because after all, the crown is not just a symbol. It is a responsibility, and I am ready to wear it with purpose, power and passion,” she said.
