Linda Marie Gorton, the former partner of actor Dennis Padilla, said she received an early “birthday gift” after she and her kids Gavin and Maddie spent quality time with Marjorie Barretto and her children Julia, Claudia and Leon.
Marjorie, Padilla’s ex-wife, earlier shared moments from her meeting with Gorton, whom she described as her “beautiful friend.”
The latter then later revealed through an Instagram post on Tuesday, May 20, that their children were present as well during their intimate gathering. The half siblings were seen bonding with one another, sharing hugs and enjoying dessert together.
The post also included a clip of them singing the birthday song for their youngest sibling Maddie.
“This was a birthday gift received earlier than expected. Our children had such a wonderful time,” Gorton captioned her post.
“It was so nice to see them all talk, laugh and joke around like they’ve always been together. And it was really a beautiful thing to watch,” she added.
Gorton then dedicated a birthday message for Marjorie, regarding the latter as an “exceptional woman.”
“I would like to greet you a belated happy birthday Marj! I admire your courage and strength. And how you face challenges with determination and grace,” she wrote. “Wishing you all the dreams your heart desires.”

It was not immediately known to the public when Marjorie and Gorton’s friendship started. Meanwhile, it can be noted that both of them have estranged relationships with Padilla.
In April 2024, Gorton belied Padilla’s claims that he was providing support for their two kids and that they had a co-parenting setup.
Marjorie, on the other hand, earlier defended Julia, Claudia and Leon from Padilla, who declared he was cutting ties with them after the supposed “visitor” treatment at Claudia’s wedding. /ra
