Save the date, pageant fans, the grand coronation night of the 2025 Binibining Pilipinas pageant is set on June 15.
The announcement was made by reigning queens Myrna Esguerra and Jasmin Bungay at the opening of the glam shot exhibit at the Quantum Skyview at the Gateway Mall 2 at the Araneta City in Quezon City on Monday afternoon, May 19.
The Smart Araneta Coliseum will still be the venue for this year’s edition of the annual event, the 61st installment of the longest-running national pageant in the Philippines.
Thirty-six candidates are competing in this year’s pageant, all vying to succeed Esguerra and Bungay, and to represent the Philippines in the 2026 Miss International pageant and 2025 The Miss Globe Competition.
The ladies got to see the large renditions of their glamorous headshots, set in 4′ x 7′ panels, spread around a cordoned off area.
Official Binibining Pilipinas lensmen Raymond Saldaña and Owen Reyes snapped the shots, with Patrick Henry Mergano handling the styling.
The ladies wore accessories by Christopher Munar, and set against a set designed by Henry Reyes.
Images of the winners of the “Face of Binibini” throughout the years are also on display at the exhibit, including 2016 Miss International Kylie Verzosa, 2019 Binibining Pilipinas Universe Gazini Ganados, and 2014 Miss Intercontinental runner-up Kris Tiffany Janson.
The exhibit will be seen at the Quantum Skyview until May 21, and will be transferred to the Gateway Mall 1 Activity Area on May 22. On May 29, it will be moved to Ali Mall, before heading back to the Gateway Mall 1 Activity Area on June 5 where it will be on display until June 11. /edv
