Marjorie Barretto bonds with Dennis Padilla’s ex Linda Marie Gorton

Marjorie Barretto gave a glimpse of her recent meeting with her “beautiful friend” Linda Marie Gorton, the Filipino-Australian ex-girlfriend of the actress’ former husband, actor Dennis Padilla.
Marjorie and Gorton were all smiles while posing for a photo at what appears to be a restaurant, as seen on the actress’ Instagram page on Friday, May 16.
“Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend Linda. It’s been wonderful getting to know you,” Marjorie said in the caption.
The celebrity mom further disclosed that they have been communicating through video calls and engaging in conversations that last for hours.
“Can’t wait to see you end of May. Let’s celebrate our birthdays together!” she added.

Gorton, for her part, expressed her gratitude to Marjorie “for being so kind and thoughtful.”
“This is so sweet of you Marj,” Gorton responded via the comments section. “True, we always have a good laugh and meaningful conversations… Hugs and kisses to you and the kids. And yes, let’s celebrate soon.”

It was not immediately known when Marjorie and Gorton’s friendship started.
Gorton made headlines in April 2024 after she belied Padilla’s claims of providing support for their two kids Gavin and Maddie, and having a co-parenting setup with her.
Meanwhile, Marjorie, who shares her three children Julia, Claudia and Leon Barretto with Padilla, earlier revealed the alleged physical, verbal and emotional abuse she suffered at his hands when they were still married.
Marjorie’s tell-all came as she defended her children from criticisms, which stemmed from Padilla’s claims of being given “visitor” treatment at Claudia’s April’s wedding. /ra
