HYBE, Jin’s talent label, likewise announced that Cruise would guest in one of the show’s episodes, although further details including the release date have yet to be revealed.

It can be noted, however, that a preview for the next episode was shared on Tuesday, May 12, featuring Jin in a maze while the “Mission Impossible” theme song was playing in the background.

Cruise’s guest appearance on the show also marked the stars’ first meeting.

Meanwhile, Cruise also had a Seoul red-carpet premiere for “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.” During the event, Filipino actor Alden Richards, who was among the VIP guests, got to meet, hug and even engage in a conversation with the Hollywood star.

Also present at the red-carpet event were cast members Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff and Greg Tarzan Davis, as well as director Christopher McQuarrie.  /ra
