P-pop pioneers SB19 and BINI are set to take the stage together again for a grand celebration of Filipino talent at the upcoming OPMCON on July 5 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
Organized by a hypermarket brand, the event aims to bring prominent Original Pinoy Music (OPM) names together for the second time to collaborate on stage with additional artists.
Last year’s performers SB19, BINI, Flow G, and Sunkissed Lola will now be joined by the girl groups G22 and KAIA, as well as rapper Skusta Clee.
G22 rose to fame with their songs “Bang,” “Boomerang,” “Limitless”—and their latest, “Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban.” Members AJ, Alfea, and Jaz debuted in 2022.
Meanwhile, KAIA, composed of members Angela, Charice, Alexa, Sophia, and Charlotte, is set to energize the audience with their upcoming Independence Day release, “Kaya Mo.”
Skusta Clee will also take the stage alongside Flow G, following the viral release of their song “Sari-Saring Kwento.”
The brand’s senior marketing manager, Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, said that this year’s event will be “bigger” than last year as they aim to strengthen the second year of the Nasa Atin Ang Panalo movement.
Tickets will be available on May 16 and 17 during the brand’s convention at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
