Sharon Cuneta could not seem to contain her elation after her husband Kiko Pangilinan secured a stable ranking in the partial and unofficial senatorial results.
The Megastar rejoiced while sharing a quote about faith and trust amid uncertainty, through her Instagram page on Tuesday, May 13.
“I believe that miracles still happen! All we did before and apart from our hard work in the campaign was pray, trust, pray, praise and glorify God no matter what!” she said.
“And last night over dinner with our son, we prayed with our angel girls at home and said that no matter the outcome, we would praise him! And we thanked him with all our hearts for just the opportunity for Kiko to ‘apply’ to be a servant of the people,” she continued.
Cuneta then expressed her profound gratitude to those who supported and campaigned for Pangilinan.
“The defamation from trolls and naysayers had no effect on him! They stood no chance against smart voters and against God!” she added. “God bless and guide my Kiko to be his best senator-self yet! We love you all!”
Cuneta also addressed Pangilinan’s fellow senatorial candidate Bam Aquino and congratulated him for placing second in the partial and unofficial Senate Magic 12.
“God is good and faithful to those who love and serve him and our people! God bless you! We love you, BAM!” the Megastar said.

As of 10:12 a.m. on May 13, Pangilinan ranks 5th in the unofficial senatorial race result with over 12,300,000 votes. Aquino, for his part, is still in the second spot with more than 16,821,000 votes. /ra
