Prior to casting his vote in the 2025 midterm elections, Jake Ejercito reiterated to his fellow voters that their loyalty should lie with the country and not with politicians seeking to be elected.

The actor, who has been vocal about his political stance, posed a reminder as he re-shared his statement from 2022, through his Facebook page on Sunday, May 11.

“Never be so loyal that you betray your country,” his remarks read.

“My tweet refers to DDS (Diehard Duterte Supporters), Marcos loyalists, Dilawans, Kakampinks, etc. And yes, even Estrada loyalists,” added Jake, who also hails from a family of politicians that include his dad, former President Joseph Estrada, and half-brothers, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada and Sen. JV Ejercito. “Be loyal to the country and your principles, not to politicians.”

In a separate post, Jake showed his index finger with indelible ink, implying that he already took part in the voting.

“Justice and progress are slow, but every ballot moves them forward,” he captioned his post.

He also added the hashtag “Para kay Ellie,” saying that he cast his vote for the future of his daughter.  /ra
