Pop star Ariana Grande featured the P-pop girl group BINI on her Instagram page as part of a montage thanking fans and musicians who joined her “supernatural” song challenge.
In her gratitude post, Grande included a video of the eight-member girl group, which participated in the popular Kim Seon-ho smile challenge that was popularized by the South Korean hit drama “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” which featured Grande’s song in the background.

Other celebrities including Piolo Pascual, Dingdong Dantes, and Joshua Garcia, among others, have already joined the trend.
Meanwhile, BINI was recently thrust into the spotlight after three of its members, Jhoanna, Stacey, and Colet, faced backlash over a controversial video featuring two other internet personalities, Shawn Castro and GAT’s Ethan David.
In the viral video, the five individuals allegedly made sexual remarks involving a “13-year-old” named Ashley, while Castro and David made suggestive “sexual movements.”
The people involved issued separate apologies in which they appealed for a chance to “reflect and learn” from the incident. /ra
