Want to join Miss Grand Philippines 2025? You have until May 12 to apply

Voters will not be the only ones who should take note of May 12, election day, because the date was also set as the deadline for applications to the 2025 Miss Grand Philippines pageant.
It is as if the national search just waited for the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines pageant to conclude before reiterating its call for applicants, an announcement that it has already released as early as February this year.
The 2025 Miss Universe Philippines pageant culminated at the coronation show held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on May 2, and pageant fans are clamoring for some of the pageant’s non-winning aspirants to give the Miss Grand International contest a chance.
“Deadline of Applications for Miss Grand Philippines 2025 is on May 12, 2025!” the national pageant posted on social media at noon on Sunday, May 4. Application forms may be downloaded via a link shared in the post.
Once accomplished, applicants may send their forms “together with one full body, swimsuit and headshot photo to [email protected],” the Miss Grand Philippines pageant added.

As in the past, other national pageants have enlisted former Miss Universe Philippines contestants. These searches include the competitions under the ALV Pageant Circle — Miss World Philippines and Miss Grand Philippines.
At last year’s Miss World Philippines pageant, crowned Miss Philippines Tourism Bianca Tapia, and Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Dia Mate had just come from the 2024 Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
Meanwhile, jumping to the 2024 Miss Grand Philippines pageant straight out of the 2024 Miss Universe pageant were eventual second runner-up Alexandra Rosales, and mother of two, Selena Antonio-Reyes, who finished in the Top 10.
The 2025 Miss Grand Philippines pageant is looking for the national successor of CJ Opiaza, who can exceed her first runner-up finish in the international pageant last year.
No Filipino woman has ever brought home the “golden crown” from the Thailand-based Miss Grand International pageant, owned and headed by the controversial Thai figure Nawat Itsaragrisil.
In ALV Pageant Circle’s two recent stagings of the Miss Grand Philippines pageant, multiple national titles were awarded to the winners. It was not yet revealed what other titles will be awarded in the 2025 competition.
In 2023, aside from the main title, the contest also proclaimed the Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas and Miss Eco Teen Philippines titleholders. Last year, the additional titles were Universal Woman Philippines and Miss Teen International Philippines.
