Alyssa Muhlach noted that there are a lot of cheaters in show biz, and admitting that this annoys her, she said they deserve to be “publicly shamed.”

Muhlach gave her two cents on how cheaters “are excused” in show biz, during a recent episode of her “He Said, She Said” podcast while discussing people who are unfaithful to their partners.

The actress-singer, however, did not disclose whom she was referring to in her remarks.

“‘Yan ang kinaiinisan ko sa (That is what annoys me in) show biz. There are so much cheaters in show biz and it’s excused. They should be publicly shamed. They should be so publicly shamed that no one will ever cheat, like that is my stand. That is my stand talaga (really),” she said.

The “2 Good 2 Be True” star then explained the reason behind her remark, saying cheaters who are excused for being such will feel free to cheat again.

“Dapat meron talaga ‘yung ibabandera ka sa buong mundo because ganito ‘yan (It should be made public for the whole world to know. Let’s put it this way), because it’s a secret, and because you are not shamed, you will do it again because what’s stopping you? Girls still date you,” she said.

Remaining on the topic, Muhlach said women “still date” the “cheaters [she] knows in show biz” because they were manipulated to believe that their exes were “crazy.”

“The cheaters I know in show biz, girls still date them because the new girl is under the illusion na crazy lang ‘yung ex niya, sinungaling lang ‘yung ex niya (their ex is crazy and a liar), so they’re still gonna date the same person. But guys, talagang once a cheater, always a cheater,” she said.

“They are so manipulative talaga. Dapat talaga (It should be) they’ll feel ashamed because it’s not something that you should be proud of,” she continued.

The “He Said, She Said” podcast is a joint effort between Muhlach and her partner, Chris Young. It premiered in April, in which they first opened up about their love story.

Muhlach was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2018, however, but ended up unplaced in the global tilt. She is best known for her appearances in “2 Good 2 Be True” and “Clarita.”
