Ahtisa Manalo’s coronation at the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant was met with congratulatory messages from fellow beauty queens including her Binibini batch sister, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.

Manalo was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 after her third attempt to win at the national tilt’s coronation night at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday, May 2.

Gray expressed how proud she is of Manalo on her X (formerly Twitter) page while sharing a social media post about the latter’s win.

The Filipino-Australian stunner and Manalo were batchmates at the Binibining Pilipinas 2018, where they were chosen to represent the Philippines at Miss Universe and Miss International, respectively.

“So proud of our bunso from BBP2018! Proof that you should never ever give up on your dreams! So proud of you Ahtisa!!! let’s goooo,” she wrote while tagging Miss Universe’s official page.

Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2014 MJ Lastimosa also congratulated Manalo while sharing a clip of the Quezon Province-based stunner waving to the audience.

“Congratulations queen!!!!” she wrote.

Manalo also received heartwarming messages from Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo, Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 Dia Mate, and Binibining Pilipinas International 2025 Myrna Esguerra, Miss Cosmo 2024 runner-up Karnruethai Tassabut, Samantha Bernardo, Graciella Lehmann and Aya Abesamis.

Other beauty queens such as Miss Universe New Zealand 2024 Victoria Velasquez Vincent, Roberta Tamondong, Miss Supranational Philippines 2025 Katrina Llegado, Miss Eco International Philippines 2025 Gabrielle Carballo, Chella Falconer and Katarina Rodriguez congratulated Manalo on her win as well.

Manalo is on a quest to win the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown after Gloria Diaz (1969), Margarita Moran (1973), Pia Wurtzbach (2015) and Catriona Gray (2018). The global tilt will take place at the Impact Challenger in Pak Kret, Thailand, on Nov. 21.

The Quezon Province-based beauty queen has been dubbed the nickname Pambansang Manika by pageant fans for her doll-like appearance and sweet demeanor. She competed at the Binibining Pilipinas 2018, Miss International 2018, Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and Miss Cosmo 2024 tilts before winning the coveted crown.
