The Miss Philippines announces new queens after MUPH 2025 coronation

Three new titleholders under The Miss Philippines were also crowned after the conclusion of the national pageant’s finale — Chelsea Fernandez, Katrina Llegado, Gabriella Carballo, who were all in the Top 6 of the Miss Universe Philippines 2025.
On the same stage at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City where the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 coronation was held on May 2, the three new queens received their respective titles after Ma. Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon was crowned the new Miss Universe Philippines queen.
Llegado of Taguig inherited The Miss Philippines-Supranational crown from Tarah Valencia, who is set to fly to Poland for the 2025 Miss Supranational pageant next month. The new queen will be sent to next year’s competition.
Tasked to bring home the country’s first win in the Miss Cosmo pageant in Vietnam later this year is Fernandez of Sultan Kudarat, who was crowned as The Miss Philippines-Cosmo.
Recently-crowned Miss Eco International 2025 Alexie Mae Brooks relinquished her national title as The Miss Philippines-Eco International to Carballo of Cebu City, who will try to give the country a back-to-back in the global tilt next year by becoming the fourth Filipino woman to bring home the crown.
Llegado is a returning candidate who finished as second runner-up in the 2022 Miss Universe Philippines pageant won by Celeste Cortesi, one of the night’s judges.
The new queen previously represented the Philippines in the 2019 Reina Hispanoamericana pageant in Bolivia, where she was proclaimed as Quinta Finalista (fifth runner-up).
Fernandez is a seasoned candidate who won in all the national pageants that she has participated in. She was 2018 Reyna ng Aliwan, 2019 Miss Philippines-Water, 2020 Miss ECQ, 2021 Miss Bikini Philippines, and 2022 Binibining Pilipinas Globe.
She represented the Philippines in the 2022 edition of The Miss Globe pageant in Albania, where she finished in the Top 15, and topped the “Head-to-Head” challenge.
Carballo, a doctor by profession, was a pageant veteran from her own province of Cebu.
Runners-up
Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez of Muntinlupa was proclaimed as first runner-up, while Yllana Marie Aduana of Siniloan, Laguna rounded up the winners’ circle as second runner-up.
This is the third time that finalists from the Miss Universe Philippines pageant were given titles under the sister brand of The Miss Philippines, the first time being in 2023 when Pauline Amelinckx and Krishnah Gravidez were crowned as the country’s representatives in Miss Supranational 2023 and Miss Charm 2024.
In 2023, there was a separate competition for The Miss Philippines that produced Miss Supranational Asia and Oceania 2024 Alethea Ambrosio, Miss Eco International 2024 first runner-up Chantal Schmidt, Miss Aura Inernational 2024 first runner-up Isabelle Delos Santos, and Miss Asia Pacific International 2024 third runner-up Blessa Figueroa.
The third set of The Miss Philippines titleholders was composed of finalists from the 2024 Miss Universe Philippines pageant, with the queens crowned right after the culmination of the national pageant in May that year, similar to what transpired this year.
