The Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant officially commenced with a glamorous presentation held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Friday, May 2.
Hosted by Xian Lim and Gabbi Garcia, the event kicked off with a pre-taped opening as the contestants made their introductions before Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo and reigning Miss Universe 2024 Victoria Kjær Theilvig graced the stage for initial appearance.
Serving as backstage hosts are Tim Yap and Erika Kristensen-Lee.
The 66 delegates are set to showcase their poise and elegance in the swimsuit and evening gown segments for tonight’s coronation.

Among those who are vying for the crown tonight are Miss Earth-Air 2023 Yllana Marie Aduana, Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez, and Miss Universe Philippines 2024 second runner-up Ahtisa Manalo.
Joining them in the race are Miss Globe 2022 semi-finalist Chelsea Fernandez and Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 fifth runner-up Katrina Llegado, among others.
Aside from the Miss Universe Philippines crown, three more titles are up for grabs tonight — Miss Supranational Philippines, Miss Eco International Philippines, and Miss Cosmo Philippines.
It is the first MUPH pageant under national director Ariella Arida, Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2013, who represented the Philippines in Miss Universe that same year and placed 3rd runner-up.
