Michelle Dee cheers on cousin Winwyn Marquez ahead of MUPH 2025 coronation

Miss Universe Philippines 2023 titleholder Michelle Dee has proudly expressed her admiration and support for her cousin, Winwyn Marquez, who is competing tonight for the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 crown.
Winwyn is the daughter of actors Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno, making her the niece of veteran beauty queen Melanie Marquez and cousin to Michelle.
Dee took to Instagram hours before the coronation to share photos and videos that highlight Winwyn’s MUPH 2025 journey including their photoshoot with Melanie.
“Wyn and I have grown side by side—on our own paths, but always with the same fire. I’ve seen her navigate this journey with quiet strength, unwavering grace, and a sense of purpose that speaks louder than any crown,” she wrote.

The MUPH 2023 titleholder praised Winwyn for her advocacy, assuring her that whatever the results of tonight’s coronation, the latter’s purpose will continue to shine.
“She stands for mothers, for second chances, for women who choose themselves again and again. And while every woman on that stage carries her own perfect light, tonight I’m simply proud to witness Wyn walk in hers just as she witnessed mine. Whatever happens, you walk with meaning. And that’s more than enough,” she added.
In the comments section, Winwyn expressed her gratitude to Dee, writing, “I’m forever grateful.”

Meanwhile, Miss Global 2022 Shane Tormes has thrown her support to pageant veteran Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province.
“The Universe is yours. Laban Manika,” Tormes captioned her Instagram story that featured Manalo’s pre-coronation look.

Winwyn and Manalo are both frontrunners, and among the 66 delegates who are vying for the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 crown on Friday night, to be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
