The Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant has offered another way for fans to support their bets, this time while the coronation show is running.
Aside from the popularity poll that has been running since March, the national pageant announced its real-time online voting during the final competition program at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City tonight, May 2.
“From the Top 24, vote to push your favorite into the Top 12. [stars emoji] From the Top 12, help her rise to the Top 6. [stars emoji] And in the final round, cast the vote that could make her the next Miss Universe Philippines!” the organization posted on social media on Friday afternoon, May 2.
“It’s your turn to help shape the destiny of Miss Universe Philippines 2025!” the national pageant said, while releasing the details on how the audience will become the contest’s 11th judge. “Your voice. Your queen. Your choice.”
This year, fans are given more power to propel their bets to various stages of the competition. The online voting announced earlier also offers guaranteed slots in the crucial stages of the competition, includng the final round, to the highest vote-getters.
Sixty-six delegates from across the country and overseas Filipino communities are competing in the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines pageant, and will try to succeed last year’s winner, Miss Universe Asia Chelsea Manalo.
The new queen will represent the Philippines in the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand in November, and try to become the fifth Filipino woman to bring home the crown.
The Miss Universe Philippines pageant will be streamed in real-time on the Empire PH YouTube channel, starting at 6 P.M. A delayed telecast is scheduled on Sunday morning on GMA.
