Ahead of the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 coronation night, this year’s delegates have already illuminated the runway at the preliminary events. In the world of pageantry, the pasarela, or runway walk, can make or break a queen’s journey to the crown.
Mastering the pasarela allows contestants to leave a lasting impression on judges and audiences alike, as these walks are displays of grace and poise that showcase one’s personality and confidence.
Given that a signature walk can elevate a delegate’s overall performance, here are the ladies who have so far caught our attention. From fierce glides to sultry twirls, these women are owning the runway with their unique flair.
Winwyn Marquez of Muntinlupa City
In 2017, Marquez made history as the first-ever Filipina to win Reina Hispanoamericana. Her stage presence and experience position her as a strong contender in this year’s competition. During the preliminary rounds, Marquez strutted down the runway with packed confidence. Her walk in the swimsuit round became a blend of sultriness and class as she showcased a smooth cape removal and her polished signature sway. For the runway showcase, Marquez became one of the two international beauty queens to make it to the Top 10 in the final voting round of the popularity poll, a testament to her commanding stage presence.
