Pageant veteran Yllana Marie Aduana is currently leading in the online poll of the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant based on the partial results.
The three leading ladies were announced on the national pageant’s social media pages on Thursday evening, with Jessica Cianchino and Rhancoise Mayangitan ranking second and third, respectively.
Both Aduana and Cianchino were among the leaders in the swimsuit showcase during the original rounds of voting, while Rhancoise did not enter the Top 10 of any of the showcase rounds.
The first round of voting, for the personality showcase, was conducted from March 1 to 15, followed by the polling for the swimsuit showcase from March 16 to 31. Voting for the runway showcase, the third round, was from April 1 to 15.
The leading delegates in per showecase were announced on social media the day after the the deadline for voting in each round. But the national pageant extended voting until May 2. Votes will be accepted until 5 P.M.
During the intial run of the popularity poll from March 1 to April 15, only Maiko Ibarde from Benguet made it to the Top 10 of all the three showcases.
This year’s voting is different, because it will give the polling leaders guaranteed slots in crucial stages of the competition, even up to the final round.
The three delegates with the most votes will make it to the first cut, while the two ladies with the highest number of votes will advance to the next round. The top vote-getter will secure a spot in the final round of the competition.
Sixty-six delegates from across the country and overseas Filipino communities are competing this year for the crown currently held by Chelsea Manalo.
The 2025 Miss Universe Philippines coronation show will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on May 2. The winner wll represent the county in the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand in November.
