Michael Sager and Emilio Daez are the latest pair of celebrity housemates to be evicted from the “Pinoy Big Brother (PBB)” house after receiving the fewest votes.
Sager and Daez’s eviction was announced on the April 26 episode of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition Collab” after receiving 29.12% of votes, while the duo of Brent Manalo and Vince Maristela had a narrow lead of 30.95%.
Meanwhile, Dustin Yu and Ralph de Leon earned the highest percentage of votes at 39.93%.
Sager was noted for his “bright smile and good heart.” “Michael, sa pananatili mo sa aking bahay, ibinahagi mo sa lahat ang iyong masayang ngiti at magandang puso. Sa kabila ng lahat, patuloy kang naniniwala sa inyong samahan, at nananatiling bukas at maaasahan,” Big Brother recalled.
(Michael, throughout your stay in my house, you showcased your bright smile and good heart. Despite what you’ve been through, you always believed in your bond while remaining open-minded and trustworthy.)
Daez was praised for his “wholehearted efforts” to interact with his fellow housemates. “Emilio, sumugal ka sa pagpasok mo sa aking bahay gaya ng iyong sugal na iwan ang propesyunal mong karera para pasukin ang industriya ng showbiz,” Big Brother said, noting his past job as an investment banker.
“Binigay mo ang lahat, buong-puso kang nakisama, pinakita mo ang iyong totoong ikaw, at naging tunay na kaibigan na maaasahan ng iyong kasama,” he added.
(Emilio, you made a gamble as soon as you entered my house, just as you gambled to leave your professional job to enter showbiz. You gave everything, you wholeheartedly interacted with everyone, showed your true self, and became a true friend to the people around you.)
Outside the PBB house
Sager and Daez’s departure was met with emotional reunions with their respective families and loved ones.
Sparkle GMA shared glimpses of what Sager did in his post-“Pinoy Big Brother” experience, where the latter embraced his family and waved to screaming fans.
“Nothing beats a family’s love and support. Michael Sager reunites with his family after the eviction night,” one of the posts read.

Meanwhile, Daez said in a clip on Star Magic’s Instagram page that he is nonetheless in “good spirits” despite his eviction.
“Gusto ko lang ipaalam sa inyo that I’m in good spirits. Hindi po tapos ang laban natin kasi dito talaga sa labas ng Bahay ni Kuya ang tunay na laban (I want to assure you that I’m in good spirits. Our fight is not yet over because the true fight happens outside of the Bahay ni Kuya),” he said.

Prior to entering the “PBB” house, Sager took on lead roles in “My Ilonggo Girl,” “Shining Inheritance,” and “Sparkle U: #SoundTrip.” He is also a co-host of the variety show “All-Out Sundays.”
On the other hand, Daez started his entertainment career as an internet personality, and is set to star in the upcoming sports drama “Love at First Spike.”
