Despite his passing, Hajji Alejandro will always be remembered by his daughter Barni Alejandro as she set up a little corner in her home dedicated to the late OPM icon.
Barni gave a glimpse of the corner setup which includes Hajji’s framed photo, a candle, white flowers in a vase and what appears to be a small green urn, through her Instagram page on Thursday, April 24.
“My Daddywaps’ little corner in my room. Still waiting on a bigger table to arrive,” she captioned her post, using Hajji’s song “Tag-Araw, Tag-Ulan” as the background music.

Hajji died at the age of 70 on April 21 after his battle with stage 4 colon cancer. His diagnosis was revealed to the public in March by his longtime partner, singer Alynna Velasquez.
Barni previously paid tribute to her father by singing his song “Ang Lahat ng Ito’y Para sa ‘Yo.”
Aside from Barni, Hajji has two more children, namely, Rachel Alejandro and Ali Alejandro.
Rachel also earlier honored their dad by recalling how he served as the “sun” of their family, with his children as the “planets orbiting around him.”
While his family did not immediately make public further details on Hajji’s death and wake, the OPM icon’s remains were reportedly cremated immediately, while his wake was held for a day with only his family and friends present.
