Sue Ramirez on romance with Dominic Roque: ‘Sure na ako’

There is no question that Sue Ramirez is indeed happy with Dominic Roque, as she described their blossoming relationship as a bond with “no pressure.”
During the press conference for Ramirez’s upcoming film “In Between,” the actress briefly spoke about her relationship with Roque when asked how she and the actor were doing.
“Hindi po ako confused. Sure na ako (I’m not confused, I’m sure with it),” she said.
Touching on her character Gaila, Ramirez described her as someone who is still “very confused in life,” especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
“Ako rin naman, sa edad na ito, parang ang dami pa rin natin gustong gawin [and] i-try. Hanggang ngayon ay hinahanap pa rin natin ang sarili natin,” she said. “At this point, we should not judge the choices people make. If that is what makes them happy, they should do it as long as wala silang natatapakang iba.”
“I don’t think I’m the type to do ‘in betweens.’ I think, lover girl talaga ako,” she further added.
(For me, at this age, I feel like I still want to do and try a lot of things. We are still trying to find ourselves. At this point, we should not judge the choices people make. If that is what makes them happy, they should do it as long as they don’t step on others’ toes. I don’t think I’m the type to do ‘in betweens.’ I think I’m more of a lover girl.)
Since being spotted together at a bar in Siargao, Ramirez and Roque have been sharing glimpses of their romance on social media, with the actress recently sharing a photo of herself with the actor and her family during the birthday of her late father.

Meanwhile, Roque shared a promotional video of a grocery date with Ramirez for a supermarket brand, as well as a recent couple’s trip to Thailand.

Roque confirmed that he and Ramirez are dating in December 2024, and they made their first red carpet appearance as a pair at the ABS-CBN Ball earlier this month.
