Millie Bobby Brown is putting on her detective hat anew as the production for the third installment of her hit movie “Enola Holmes” began.
The British actress, who plays the titular role, announced this by sharing a skit with co-actor Louis Partridge, who portrays Tewkesbury, through her Instagram page on Tuesday, April 22.
The act, which gave a first look at the movie’s filming set in the United Kingdom, shows Brown and Partridge in a bit of a spat after the latter supposedly arrived late on the first day of production.
Partridge tries to woo Brown with wild flowers, but she initially ignores it and walks away from him. In the end, the pair make up and meet film director Philip Barantini.
“We’re in production but not without [Philip Barantini] at the helm. And so we begin,” she said in the caption.

The third film installment will follow the story of Enola Holmes, the younger sister of famous detective Sherlock Holmes, as she takes on a new case in Malta where she will be “flung into a nest of vipers.”
Starring along with Brown and Partridge are returning cast members Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Himesh Patel as Dr. John Watson, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Moriarty.
Based on the book series “The Enola Holmes Mysteries,” the first movie was first streamed in September 2020 at the height of the coronavirus pandemic, introducing the protagonist as her own detective in search of their mother, Eudoria, capable of outsmarting her own brother Sherlock.
The sequel was released in November 2022, taking inspiration from the matchgirls strike in London in 1888, serving as foil to Enola’s opening of her own detective agency.
Details on the third film’s release date has yet to be announced as of this writing.
