Ellen Adarna flaunts fitness progress 5 months postpartum

Five months after she gave birth to her second child Liana, Ellen Adarna left netizens in awe with her slim physique — a result of regular workout and healthy diet.
The celebrity mom showed off her progress donning a two-piece swimwear, through her Instagram page on Thursday, April 17.
“Took me 9 months to grow a tiny human in my belly, so I’m giving myself another 9 months to hit my goals,” she disclosed, noting how she still has four months in her fitness journey.
“Not there yet but progress is progress!” she said. “Five months postpartum and still showing up… Even if I wish it was linear, the ups and downs and hello hormones?!”
Adarna further noted that she has been suffering from hairfall and sciatica, a type of nerve pain, which she acquired during her second pregnancy. She added that she has been undergoing therapy for this.
“Thank you, Liana, for this souvenir!” she quipped. “Nothing says motherhood like nerve pain and aches everywhere.”
She also stated that she takes Pilates training thrice a week and does yoga twice a week, as she “does not have the energy” for high intensity workout at the moment. “My sciatica loves to remind me to take it slow.”

Adarna shares her daughter Liana with her actor husband Derek Ramsay. The couple did not announce Adarna’s pregnancy, and only revealed last October that she had already given birth.
Aside from Liana, Adarna has a son named Elias whom she shares with her former boyfriend, actor John Lloyd Cruz.
