Janine Gutierrez consoled by fans, celebs after losing grandmas Pilita, Nora

Fans and fellow celebrities offered their prayers and sympathies to Janine Gutierrez and her siblings, who lost their grandmothers Pilita Corrales and Nora Aunor in just a week.
The late Superstar and National Artist died on April 16, just four days after Corrales, dubbed Asia’s Queen of Songs, passed on April 12.
On Janine’s tribute post to Aunor on her Instagram page, the younger actress described the latter as a “treasure” to their family and to the people.
The post drew messages from fans and celebrities alike who extended their well-wishes to Janine and her siblings, lamenting the four’s unfortunate loss.
“My deepest sympathies, Nins. Losing two grandmas,” Ana Feleo wrote. “Offering prayers for them and your whole family.”
“Mamita and Mama Guy are singing together in heaven with the angels!” one Instagram user stated, referring to the nicknames of the two late Philippine entertainment icons.
“So sorry for your loss, Janine. May the soul of your Lola rest in peace,” a netizen said. “Another star together with Tita Pilita is added into the heavens.”
“Two grandmas in a week,” another netizen lamented. “May they rest peace, Ms. Pilita and the Superstar.”
“My heart hurts with you. To lose both your grandmothers within days is heartbreaking,” an Instagram user wrote. “You now have two loving guardian angel to watch over you.”
