In January, the “Linlang” actor also completed the half marathon in Iloilo, completing a 22.7-kilometer race in two hours.
Aside from Ejercito, other Filipino celebrities have also recently engaged in running.
Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, Julia Barretto, Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino recently participated in a charity fun run to support children with cancer.
Richards mentioned in an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer that he plans to join a half marathon to commemorate his 15th anniversary in show biz later this year.
The former “Eat Bulaga” host began organizing fun runs including one with the Movie Workers Welfare Foundation in May.
