Andre Paras came to the defense of his younger brother Kobe Paras after a netizen apparently made the latter “look like a bad person” by highlighting instances of him partying at a club.

Through his Facebook page on Tuesday, April 15, Andre called out a Facebook user under the name Magandang Bulaklak. Based on the netizen’s page, she is an avid fan of Kyline Alcantara whom Kobe has been dating.

In his post, Andre shared screenshots of the netizen’s contents about Kobe in which the basketball player was seen partying at a club with companions including girls.

“Lifestyle niya parang nakawala sa hawla,” the netizen said of Kobe, even adding the hashtag “party boy” in one of her posts.

Andre then stressed, “Kobe is with his friends and he’s having fun. They are doing it in the right place and time. They are in a club. It’s legal to have fun and make noise there, right?”

“Magtaka po kayo kapag nag-club ang isang tao tapos nagbabasa lang sila ng libro doon o kaya pumunta doon para lang matulog,” the actor stated.

Andre further noted that the women who were with Kobe are the partners of his guy friends.

“If you really cared about Kybe then you will not be doing this at all,” Andre added, apparently referring to one of Kobe and Kyline’s monikers as a couple.

“I know what you’re trying to do. You’re trying to make my brother look like a bad person,” Andre continued addressing the netizen. “I understand how addicting it is to get views and comments on a social media post. But doing it this way? Nako po.”

Andre then advised the netizen not to block him or even delete the videos she uploaded as she will be “tampering with evidence.” He, however, did not immediately disclose if their family would take legal action on the matter.

“I’m his kuya and I have the right to stand up for him against people like you who only care about making him look bad,” Andre concluded.

This came amid speculations that Kobe and Alcantara have broken up. This arose after eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the pair had deleted some of each other’s photos on their respective Instagram pages.

While the couple has yet to comment on the rumors, Kobe’s dad, actor Benjie Paras, dismissed these in a statement to Philippine Entertainment Portal.
