Even NCT Wish couldn’t escape from the “Daleng Dale” fever, as the Japan-based boy group did a short cover of GAT’s revival hit during their Manila show and on social media.

NCT Wish did a short cover of GAT’s “Daleng Dale” during the Manila leg of their “Log In” tour on Saturday, April 12, with South Korean member Sion appearing to enjoy himself throughout the routine.

The performance caught the attention of the GAT as they reposted a clip of NCT Wish’s performance on their X (formerly Twitter) page.

“KPop group NCT Wish covers GAT’s viral hit song Daleng Dale in their first Manila concert tonight,” the post read.

The six-member boy group also did a cover of “Daleng Dale” on their TikTok page.

“#NCTWISH ‘s #dalengdaledancechallenge,” the caption read.

NCT Wish — which is based in Japan — is composed of Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya, and they debuted in February 2024. It is the sixth and final sub-unit of the global boy group NCT.

Meanwhile, “Daleng Dale” was originally sung by the Filipino group MMJ in 2013. It is notable for its refrain, “Sino siya? / Ang bangis niyang gumiling / Ang bangis niyang gumiling-giling.” It has garnered over 450,000 posts on TikTok, as of this writing.

It was then revived by rookie P-pop boy group GAT in February 2025 as part of the EP of the hit web series “Ang Mutya ng Seksyon E.” The group is made up of Ethan, Charles, Michael, Hans, and Derick.
