BTS’ J-Hope back in PH after 8 years

BTS’ J-Hope has arrived in the Philippines ahead of the Manila leg of his concert tour, marking his much-awaited return to the country about eight years after the K-pop supergroup’s 2017 concert.

J-Hope flew from South Korea to the Philippines early Friday, April 11, as seen on the K-pop star’s Instagram Stories.

“Off to Manila,” he said, showing a video of himself inside an airplane.

J-Hope arrived in the Philippines hours later, and was warmly welcomed by Filipino fans who took videos of him at the airport.

J-Hope is set to stage his “Hope on the Stage” shows in Manila on April 12 and 13. This will kick off the Asian leg of his concert tour, and will be followed by shows in Japan, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei and Osaka.

J-Hope last visited the Philippines in May 2017, when he and his fellow BTS members Jin, Suga, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook held their “BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour.”
