Filipino singer Moira Dela Torre is one happy fangirl after she had the chance to perform with Super Junior member Kyuhyun.
Dela Torre recently took to Instagram to thank the Korean singer for giving her a “best time” after they performed each other’s songs at the latter’s recent concert in Manila.
“Thank you [Kyuhyun] for being so kind. We had the best time!!” she wrote alongside their photos on stage and backstage.
Kyuhyun also penned a gratitude post to Moira where he thanked her Filipino fans as well for their support.
“It’s a pity, but Thankful for happy memories, another memory to cherish!! No solo tour for a while but I’ll be back with a new look!! I love you!!! Kyupiter & E.L.F. Thank you, Moira,” he wrote alongside the concert photos.
The female singer-songwriter joined Kyuhyun in performing the latter’s 2024 single “Last Poem,” before they proceeded to perform Dela Torre’s hit song “Paubaya.”
During their banter, the boy group member asked Dela Torre why she and her fellow Filipinos are so good with the Korean language.
“Kasi mahilig ako sa K-drama (Because I like K-dramas). Tyamba lang uy (It’s just fair luck),” she said humbly.
Kyuhyun rose to fame after he debuted as one of the members of Super Junior in 2006. He then debuted as a solo artist in 2014. He has also established himself as a musical actor appearing in the productions of “The Three Musketeers,” “Moon Embracing the Sun,” and “Robin Hood,” among others.
