AC Bonifacio said she is aware of the negative comments she received throughout her stay at the “Pinoy Big Brother (PBB)” house, clarifying that she has no “bad blood” with her fellow housemates before her eviction.

The majority of Bonifacio’s “PBB” stint was marred with backlash on social media after she was accused of throwing shade against a certain “show-off” with fellow housemate Michael Sager, which netizens speculated to be Criza Taa.

She was also criticized for her initial tension with Bianca de Vera due to their shared history with the former’s boyfriend Harvey Bautista and allegedly backstabbing fellow evictee Ashley Ortega against fellow housemates.

Bonifacio aired her side in a TV Patrol interview on Thursday, April 3, saying she “understood” where the criticism was coming from.

“Backstabber, manipulative, they would talk about my closeness with Michael [Sager], and inamin ko po ‘yung [relationship namin ni] Harvey [Bautista],” she said. “Those were the main ones talaga na they were trying to put [against] me. I understand where they’re all coming from.”

Despite this, Bonifacio pointed out that she settled her issues in the PBB house and is on good terms with her fellow housemates before her eviction.

“But you know what — at the end of the day, na-resolve ko ang mga issues ko sa loob (I settled these issues inside the ‘PBB’ house) and settled everything before I left. I have no bad blood with anyone in the house,” she said.

The actress-dancer added that being a “PBB” housemate taught her the importance of listening to others.

“I’m kinda still processing right now at the moment. But it’s been good. I had a good journey. I had a good experience. ‘PBB’ really humbled me. It taught me to just sit and listen,” she said.

In a separate interview with 24 Oras, Bonifacio clarified that some of her interactions with her fellow housemates were not publicly shown.

“Our friendship [and] family po talaga was genuine and true. ‘Yun ang namimiss ko (That is what I will miss), ‘yung housemates. We know details that other people don’t know. Me and Ate Ashley [Ortega], what we went through, there’s a lot of it that wasn’t shown,” she said.

Bonifacio and Ortega were the first evictees of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition Collab” edition last March 29, a collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA to mark the show’s 20th anniversary.
