Heart Evangelista lends P11-million necklace to Andrea Brillantes for ABS-CBN ball

Andrea Brillantes looked even more stunning with the P11-million diamond necklace lent by fashion maven Heart Evangelista for the star-studded ABS-CBN 2025 ball Friday night, April 4.
Evangelista’s Serpenti necklace from the luxury jewelry house Bulgari is made of a strand of white pavé diamonds set in 18-karat white gold chain. It first gained attention when she wore it during an interview with Boy Abunda in May 2023, with value estimated at P8-million. A check with the website of the jewelry house shows that the same design now costs 175,000.00 euros, or equivalent to P10,998,750.00
It graced the neck of Brillantes who wore it with a sleek cream pantsuit with a deep-V neckline by Neric Beltran. She tossed her tressed into a high ponytail to further accentuate her glittering neckpiece.
On Instagram, Brillantes thanked Evangelista for loaning her such a valuable piece of jewelry.
“I be on my suit and tie,” said Brillantes, tagging Evangelista in the caption.

“Anytime,” Evangelista commented.
This isn’t the first time that Evangelista would lend her famous serpentina necklace. In June 2024, her stepdaughter Chesi went out on her first prom with the multimillion-peso piece around her neck to complement her Michael Leyva outfit.
‘Casual’ party
The fashion week regular also went to the ABS-CBN ball, together with her husband, Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero. She wore a deep blue velvet serpentina gown with a bright red lining from Schiaparelli. Her gown also featured a low back and a short train.
A former Star Magic talent, Evangelista was last present at the ABS-CBN Ball in 2017. She returned to the star-studded gala after eight years with Escudero.
At the ball, Evangelista hung out with her fellow G-Mik star Angelica Panganiban, as well as Ketchup Eusebio and BINI Aiah Arceta, to name a few.
Evangelista excitedly hugged Panganiban while Eusebio clapped his hands in glee, as seen in a now-expired Instagram Story by makeup artist Memay Francisco. The three of them posed for a photo afterwards.

G-Mik was a youth-oriented drama in the late ’90s featuring Evangelista, Panganiban, siblings John and Camille Prats, Stefano Mori and Carlo Aquino.
Evangelista and Panganiban developed a close friendship from that show. However, they were involved in a public spat after Evangelista failed to invite the “Rubi” star to her wedding with Escudero in 2015.
The actresses eventually patched up their friendship 10 years later, although they kept the details of how they rekindled their closeness private.

Evangelista also snapped a photo with a delighted Arceta during the gala, as spotted in a photo on the latter’s now-expired Instagram Story. The BINI member previously said that she considers the Kapuso star as her “idol” in 2024.
