The Black Label set to hold global audition; PH stop included

South Korean agency The Black Label, an associate company of YG Entertainment, announced its upcoming series of auditions in several countries including the Philippines.

“STEP INTO THEBLACKLABEL,” the company wrote via its X (formerly Twitter) page on Tuesday, April 1, along with a clip containing the details of the global event.

The auditions will be held in Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan, and is only open to individuals born within 2006 to 2015. Audition categories include vocal, rap and dance.

According to the company’s website, the auditions in the Philippines will be held on May 11.

The short clip also features the artists signed under the label, including Rosé of Blackpink, Taeyang of BIGBANG, Jeon Somi, and girl group MEOVV. Also part of the talent company’s roster of artists is Korean actor Park Bo-gum.

“This is your moment. Own it,” it further said.

Aspiring applicants may pre-register via Google Forms online until three days prior to the scheduled audition in their country. On-site registration will also be available on the day of the event.
