Pageant veteran Yllana Aduana’s campaign bore fruit as she clinched a spot among the leaders of the online voting for the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 “Swimsuit Showcase.”
The 10 leading ladies in the second round of online voting were revealed on social media on Tuesday, April 1. Votes from March 16 to 31 were considered for this stage of the polling.
Benguet’s Maiko Ibarde was the lone delegate to be among the top vote-getters in both the first and second rounds, for personality and swimsuit, respectively.
Aduana has been rallying her followers on social media to continue supporting her bid to top the swimsuit round.
The 2023 Miss Earth-Air titleholder is representing Siniloan, Laguna, in the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
Joining Aduana and Ibarde in the Top 10 of the “Swimsuit Showcase” are overseas-based delegates, Kristel David from Las Piñas City and representing the Filipino community of Western Canada, Jessica Cianchino from San Jose, Batangas, and representing the Filipino community of Eastern Canada, and Zoe Gabon from Naga City and representing the Filipino community of Virginia.
Also in the Top 10 are Bohol’s Tyra Goldman, Isabela’s Jarina Sandhu, Pangasinan’s Andrea Cayabyab, San Fernando, Cebu’s Thelma Suzanne Dayao, and Siargao’s Millen Joy Cabigas
Aduana, Cianchino, Cayabyab, and Cabigas were among the five leaders in the partial results posted on March 23. Valerie West from Ifugao, representing the Filipino community of New York, was in the Top 5 back then, but she was not in the Top 10 in the final count.
The delegates with the highest number of votes by the end of the voting period will earn guaranteed slots in crucial segments of the competition.
The third and final round of voting, for the “Runway Showcase,” starts today, April 1. Votes will be accepted until April 15.
The 2025 Miss Universe Philippines coronation show will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on May 2. Chelsea Manalo will relinquish her crown to her successor at the end of the competition.
