Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig‘s current visit to Manila is low-key compared to her predecessors’ trips to the Philippines. But the Danish beauty will be back for a more festive welcome.

Other than the duration of her trip to the Philippines from March 25 to 30, as mentioned in a social media post by the Miss Universe Organization (MUO), much of the details surrounding her visit has been kept under wraps.

No other posts about her trip to Manila have been made on the international pageant’s pages as of this writing, and the more recent posts showed Theilvig’s just-concluded visit to India.

But Miss Universe Philippines Executive Vice President Voltaire Tayag shared with INQUIRER.net that the reigning international titlist’s current visit will not be her last trip to the country.

“She will be back end of April for the MUPh finals,” he said. The 2025 Miss Universe Philippines coronation show will be held on May 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Tayag also offered an explanation as to why Theilvig’s visit to Manila did not involve any fanfare similar to the ones that the previous winners experienced.

“Victoria’s visit now is an official MU visit. [MUPH is] not involved with the details or scheduling,” he said.

The Philippines was recognized as the “Best Host Tour Country” at the 2024 Miss Universe pageant in Mexico for the splendid  Manila welcome that 2023 winner Sheynnis Palacios experienced.

Before Theilvig and Palacios, 2022 winner R’Bonney Gabriel and 2021 queen Harnaaz Sandhu also visited the Philippines during their respective reigns.
