NCCA, CCP open nominations for 2012 National Artist Award

MANILA, Philippines – The National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) and the Cultural Center of the Philippines announced Thursday that they have began accepting nominations for the 2012 National Artist Award.

Interested persons may get nomination forms as well as nomination guidelines from NCCA and CCP offices, it said.

For the NCCA, look for Frances S. Alincastre at Office of the Executive Director, NCCA, 633 General Luna St., Intramuros, Manila. Alincastre can also be reached through Tel. No. 527-21-92, loc. 503 or 527-2214 (DL), and e-mail address:  haraya_naaw@ncca.gov.ph.

In the CCP, look for Mylene Henson at Office of the Artistic Director, CCP Complex, Pasay City. Henson can also be reached at Tel. No. 832-11-25, loc. 1121, 1122 or 832-36-69, e-mail to: hensonmy@yahoo.com

The nominations will be open up until November 30, Henson said in a phone interview. A copy of the guidelines can also be accessed at the website of the NCCA at https://ncca.gov.ph/main.php.
