Selena Gomez announced the upcoming release of her and her fiancé Benny Blanco’s new track “Sunset Blvd,” whose title was inspired by the location of the couple’s first date.
The American actress-singer made the announcement by sharing her never-before-seen moments with Blanco, through her Instagram page on Wednesday, March 12.
“Our first date was on Sunset Blvd, and it’s also the title of our next song together,” she said, adding that the track is set for release on Friday, March 14.
“P.S. This is our first official photo together,” she added, referring to the black-and-white snap in which she can be seen lying on Blanco’s shoulder.
The couple took a further trip down memory lane as they returned to the Thai restaurant where they had their first dine-out date. The couple also cooked food with the restaurant staff, as seen in the video on Blanco’s Instagram page.
Gomez and Blanco earlier announced that they would be releasing their collaborative album “I Said I Love You First,” which “celebrates the pair’s love story, giving fans a unique window into their relationship.”
The couple previously released two tracks from the project: “Scared of Loving You” and “Call Me When You Break Up.” “I Said I Love You First” is set to arrive on March 21.
Prior to their album, Gomez and Blanco had already worked together in the former’s songs including “Same Old Love” and “I Can’t Get Enough.”
Gomez and Blanco made their relationship public in 2023, then announced their engagement in December 2024.
