Fil-Am actor Jacob Batalon, best known for starring in the Tom Holland-led “Spider-Man” films, is set to tie the knot soon with his girlfriend Veronica Leahov after she said yes to his marriage proposal.
Batalon revealed their engagement by showing moments from when he popped the question in New York, through his Instagram page on Thursday, March 6.
The actor got down on one knee while holding the ring in front of Leahov. Behind the couple was a heart-shaped floral arrangement with neon light signage “Will you marry me?” in the middle.
Batalon also gave a closer look at the engagement ring on Leahov’s finger.
“The beginning of the rest of our lives together,” he said in the caption.

Batalon and his girlfriend’s engagement came just two months after his “Spider-Man” co-stars Holland and Zendaya, who have been dating since 2021, got engaged.
Batalon, born in Hawaii to Filipino parents, portrayed the role of Ned Leeds, the best friend of Holland’s Peter Parker, in the three “Spider-Man” films “Spider-Man: Homecoming ” (2017), “Spider-Man: Far from Home” (2019), and “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (2021).
Speaking about most local actors’ dream of going Hollywood, Batalon said, “It’s important to remember that success isn’t measured by Hollywood, which is just a buffed up thing that people think is success.”
“If you’re with people who are just as artistic or who believe in the same things as you do, that means you’re successful. And really, your work will speak for itself and that’s what will get you there,” he added.
