Jayson Luzadas, also known as content creator Boss Toyo, bought Moonstar88’s electric guitar and 6cyclemind’s trophy to financially support “The X Factor Philippines” alum Allan Mitchell Silonga, who is battling a heart condition and kidney failure.

The members of Moonstar88, namely Maysh Baay, Bon Sundiang, and Herbert Hernandez visited Boss Toyo’s shop, as seen on the latter’s YouTube channel on Friday, February 21, to sell a white electric guitar to help with Silonga’s finances.

“Meron kaming kaibigan, si Daddy A ng Daddy’s Home and K24/7, meron siyang kidney failure and heart problem. Nagre-raise [kami ng pera para tulungan siya], nalaman namin na pwedeng pumunta ngayon… bumunot kami ng mga memorabilia para [ibenta],” they said, disclosing that Silonga needs an angioplasty and a kidney transplant.

(We have a friend, Daddy A of Daddy’s Home and K24/7, he has kidney failure and a heart problem. We’re raising money to help him. When we found out that we could visit the shop, we tried to get some of our memorabilia to sell them to you.)

Silonga, under the alias Daddy A, is a member of the music group Daddy’s Home, who was one of the finalists of “The X Factor Philippines” in 2012. He is also the father of musician and IV of Spades member Blaster Silonga.

Speaking for both groups, Hernandez shared that the electric guitar was featured in the music videos of “Torete” and “Migraine,” while the trophy was awarded by “ASAP” for 6cyclemind’s 2007 album “Home.”

The trophy and guitar were first offered for P350,000 and P888,888, respectively. However, both groups and Luzadas went back and forth negotiating the selling price, with Hernandez reiterating the value of “Torete” and “Migraine” in terms of recognition and streams. On the other hand, the content creator stated that he was being “honest” with the given values, adding that he turned down Freddie Aguilar’s “Anak” guitar.

They eventually settled with P400,688 with Luzadas shaking hands with the bands.

Silonga also took to his Facebook page to express his gratitude to Moonstar88 and 6cyclemind for their efforts to help raise money for his medical expenses.

“Sobrang shock ako sa pinakita nyong pagmamahal sa akin, wala naman ako naitulong ng malaki sa Inyo, naging mabuti at naging tao lang ako pag nagkakasama tayo, sobrang salamat,” he said. “Malaking tulong kayo sa akin. God bless you more. Salamat Boss Toyo at naging instrumento ang programa mo para makatulong. God is great!”

(I’m very shocked by the love you showed toward me. I didn’t help you with anything, and was only good to you when we are together. Thank you very much. You are a big help to me. God bless you more. Thank you to Boss Toyo and your program was an instrument to help others. God is great!)

Romano’s cancer battle

The “Pinoy Pawnstars” host reportedly helped in supporting the medical expenses of “FlipTop” emcee Romano Trinidad, who was diagnosed with liver cancer, per one Todays Hiphop on Facebook.

(Romano is diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer, as confirmed by his close friends. He didn’t want to disclose his condition to his friends because he was embarrassed to be judged by the public. He decided to go to Manila for prompt medical treatment and he was helped by Boss Toyo in his medical-related and hospital finances).

Trinidad confirmed that he is indeed sick on his Facebook page and that he would be temporarily taking a break from replying to messages, although he didn’t disclose his condition.

Luzadas is prominent for his online show “Pinoy Pawnstars,” which was guested by Diana Zubiri, Jiro Manio, and Francis Magalona’s alleged lover Abegail Rait, to name a few.
